The hour is late…
And the light is fading. We believe God created us for intimacy and a life displaying His abundant glory. However, due to the enemy’s continued assaults, the power of the gospel is falsely perceived as a structure of behavioral management and God is seen as distant and uncaring. We are unaware or indifferent to the battle between good and evil.
VISION
As Christians, blessed with creativity, we can reverse the disintegration and improve the human condition by taking mainstream audiences into captivating and visually stunning motion picture experiences that reawaken something deep in their hearts and re-ignite the sacred connection between Creator and His children. We believe God deserves to be worshipped through films that showcase His Power, Love and Beauty. We believe people desire to see a powerful and loving God, someone they feel safe giving their hearts to.
Dragon Slayer Productions is created to display God’s Power Love and Beauty by weaving His dynamic presence into our epic stories of good overcoming evil. We want our small stories to invite audiences into the larger story- God’s pursuit of His people and victory over evil. On some level our stories will demonstrate that God is the hero of the eternal story and that the Trinity is working to restore our hearts, bring us fully alive and reignite us with our Heavenly Father.
To take the words of Dr. Ted Baegr, founder of Movieguide, “There is a war raging all around us. This war is not taking place on the usual battlefield. It’s being fought inside men’s minds. Dragon Slayer Productions is developing media projects with strong Christian and biblical worldviews and without heavy-handed preachyness.
MISSION
Our missions is to imagine, develop, and co-produce God-honoring content that inspires. We will not employ overt agendas in our movies but rather use stories, parables, and allegories as the way to inspire the heart. DSP aims to strongly capture both Christian and secular markets through captivating stories that entertain and intrigue while simultaneously displaying positive and powerful messages.
Although we break away from traditonal Christian production methods, budgets, and story agendas, we look to capture a significant share of the 196 million-strong Christian community by weaving themes and content that complement their faith walk. Also, we want our stories and production value to be so high that non-Christians want to experience our movies. Audiences from both sectors can experience deeply engaging and brilliantly produced content without any compromises.
Secondarily, DSP is also dedicated to engaging in audience development and building strong brand loyalty by creating tribes of people committed to supporting new DSP projects in order to solidify successful box office and rental numbers. We believe we can add massive value to our co-producers and distribution companies by developing productions and an audience ready to support our projects. This will, in turn, reduce overall risk for our partners. On an intrinsic level, we see tribe-building as a way to energize and unite a fragmented demographic into a common goal- worshipping God through film.

INSPIRATION
Revelation 12 describes the spiritual warfare that occurred during Jesus’ birth. A red dragon tried to capture Jesus as He was being born. The battle between good and evil intensified to a whole new level starting that day. Jesus came as the 2nd Adam to heal the broken-hearted and set the captives free. He accomplished that mission perfectly. Jesus was the 1st Dragon Slayer.
By helping people experience God’s Power, Love and Beauty we slay dragons, too. We are cutting into the territory of the enemy by helping people open their hearts to God. Dragon Slayers free hostages and take territory. We invite you to become our sacred ally in this battle. We recognize we play a powerful role in the battle of good overcoming evil.
